The think tanks in the Think 20 will hold meetings to work on the recommendations that will be submitted to the Argentine presidency of the G20. The first stage will be the Inception Workshop: Vision and Strategies for 2018, that will be held on February 1st and 2nd, 2018.
CARI and CIPPEC will co-chair the Think 20 (T20) from December 1 2017 to November 30 2018. Throughout the year events will be held so that researchers and international opinion leaders can work on suggestions to be made to the chair of the multilateral group. The meetings will facilitate interaction between members of the network, G20 officials and the general public.
The first stage will be the “Inception Workshop: Vision and Strategies for 2018” that will be held in Buenos Aires on February 1st and 2nd, 2018. The chairs of the working groups and their members will be informed of the priorities and objectives set by the Argentine chairs of the T20 and will work on their research.
The following meeting will be in Berlin on the 28th and 29th of May, for the annual conference of the Council for Global Problem-Solving, co-organized by T20 Argentina.
The final meeting is the T20 Summit, which will take place in Buenos Aires from the 16th to the 18th of September. This process will lead to the document with the final recommendations for the Argentine presidency of the G20.
Argentina will transfer the presidency of the T20 to Japan between October and December 2018. The transition will be steered by the teams and institutions that manage the network.
