The seminar will highlight the important issues of Tax Competition and Tax Expenditure in the context of the Argentinian Presidency of the G20, as well as introducing the work of the Global Tax Governance (GLOBTAXGOV) project
The objective is to discuss the challenges and opportunities that digital education offers in the region and promote its treatment as one of the central work topics of the Think20 in the framework of the Task Force “The future of work and education for the digital era”.
The objective is to talk about the fundamental aspects of the digital economy and the challenges for the future. It also aims to produce a document with the main contributions with a view to contributing to the meetings that will be carried out during the G20 in the country.
Organized by the International Urban Development Association (INTA), participants will analyze the policy briefs from the Task Force on Climate Action and Infrastructure for Development in relation to urban policies and territorial projects in four cases.
The T20 Gender Economic Equity task force will host a panel event in Ottawa as a part of IDRC’s Gender Speaker Series. It will introduce the T20, the task force and present the key recommendations for G20 leaders.
Leading experts from the T20 Argentina will discuss climate action and infrastructure for development, one of the key challenges of the global development agenda, together with the DOC Research Institute.
Co-chairs and members of each Task Force will meet to get first-hand contact with the Argentine priorities and challenges for 2018 and to coordinate and advance research efforts. This event will be an opportunity to foster discussion and bring together the network of experts.
