T20 Argentina associated event

Hosted by the Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations, this is an event that focuses on diplomatic relations and business and financial affairs. It will take place in the framework of the Gateway of India Geoeconomic Dialogue: Where geopolitics meets business.

Gateway House has hosted T20 meetings during the 2017 German presidency, the 2016 Chinese presidency, and the 2015 Turkish presidency of the G20. These meetings brought together experts from think tanks working on international economic governance and foreign economic policy issues, business leaders and relevant government officials from India and the G20 countries to Mumbai.

Topic: Argentina, India and the G20

Objective: Discuss Argentina’s priorities for G20 and T20 in 2017 and India’s contributions to the process.

Objective: To develop recommendations for designing social security products and employment contracts for the informal and gig economy

Topic: Trade in Services

Objective: To develop recommendations for designing a new multilateral agreement for trade in services

3.00 pm: Roundtable 4
Topic: Financial Markets Regulations

Objective: To develop recommendations for establishing a transparent, equitable and resilient financial market infrastructure
