The Task Forces will be able to meet each other for the first time in Buenos Aires on 1-2 February where they will be able to outline their priorities and define a work agenda.
T20 Task Forces are set to meet each other for the first time during T20 Argentina´s Inception Workshop: “Vision and strategies for 2018” in Buenos Aires on 1-2 February.
There will be working sessions available for the ten Task Forces from 14:00 to 17:30 on 1 February and from 16:30 to 17:30 on February 2. During this time, co-chairs and members will set out their work agenda and determine their priorities. This will be a chance for them to interact with other experts who have taken part in the event´s plenary sessions as well as Argentina´s G20 working group (WG) representatives to learn about Argentine priorities too.
The ten task Forces are: The Future of Work and Education for the Digital Age, Climate Action and Infrastructure for Development, Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture, Gender Economic Equity, Cooperation with Africa, 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Trade, Investment and Tax Cooperation, Social Cohesion, Global Governance and the Future of Politics, An International Financial Architecture for Stability and Development and Migration.
The Inception Workshop will provide opportunities for participants to attend keynote sessions from Jeffrey Sachs and Antonio Vegara, go to plenary sessions on a wide range of topics and also learn more about Argentina’s role in the G20.
