The T20 and Tax policy proposals

The Task Force on Trade, Investment and Tax Cooperation came together in Buenos Aires on September 20 to discuss their recommendations

The Task Force on Trade, Investment and Tax Cooperation came together in Buenos Aires on September 20 to participate in a session on the T20 and its Tax policy proposals: Tax competition and expenditure. It was a Think 20 (T20) associated event organized by the Argentine Association of Fiscal Studies (AAEF), the Argentine Association of Fiscal Studies (IFA Argentina) and CIPPEC.

During the meeting, the engagement group’s work was discussed as well as the tax proposals put forward in the Communiqué, which the T20 presented to the president of Argentina Mauricio Macri on September 17.

The participants in the event were: Carlos Abeledo, vice president of AAEF; Gabriela Rigoni, member of the board of directors of AAEF and from the T20; Alex Saúl, G20 Forum Special Unit; Martín Rapetti, Economic Development Program Director at CIPPEC; Christian von Haldenwang, co-chair; Agustín Redonda, co author; and Pablo Carreras.
